Reservations & Wait list

You have the option of making a Reservation ($50 non-refundable deposit required) or getting on our Wait List (no deposit required).

If you are certain that you want a kid from one of our planned breedings, please place a Reservation and make a deposit. Available reservations can be secured with a $50 deposit per selection.

When kids are born, and after they are evaluated, we notify those on the Reservation List in the order they were received. After the Reservation List is fulfilled, we will move on to the Wait List.

Reservation deposits are applied towards your total purchase sales price.

*If we are unable to fulfill the reservation that you selected, you will receive a refund of your deposit OR you may use it as a credit towards another kid or roll it over to the next kidding season.

We reserve the right to retain any goat for any reason at any time. If we choose to retain a kid from breeding with a deposit, your deposit will be immediately refunded.

deposit policy

When you are contacted that a kid is available for you, you will need to place a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total sales price within 24 hours to hold the kid until the agreed upon pick-up date. The remainder of the sales price must be made before or at the time of pick-up.

A goat will not be held, or considered to be reserved, until a deposit has been received.

Deposits at this stage are non-refundable unless a kid were to become ill or die before the time of pick-up, in which case a refund will be provided.

health guarantee

We guarantee the health of the kid before it leaves our farm. The buyer will sign a sales agreement agreeing to the animal and it’s health at the time of pick-up.

Once the animal leaves our property we are no longer responsible for any illness or injury that may occur.

We test yearly for CL, CAE, & Johnes. Copies of these results can be provided at any time.

payment methods

We accept payment through Venmo, PayPal, or Cash.

Payment must be received in full before or at time of pick-up.

All buyers are required to read and sign our sales agreement.

Pick-up

Kids will be ready for pick-up between 8-12 weeks of age (unless they are leaving on bottle in which case they may leave sooner).

Kids must be picked up within 7 days of agreed upon pick-up date. If a kid cannot be picked up within the 7 day period, boarding can be arranged at $5 per day, which will be paid by buyer before the goat leaves our farm. Failure to pick-up or arrange transport within 7 days may result in cancellation of sale, forfeiture of deposit, and goat may be retained or re-listed for sale.

If ground or air transport is being arranged, the buyer is responsible for all fees, scheduling, testing and health certificates associated with transport of the kid.

All kids will come with registration papers, tattooed, disbudded (if horned), and have their appropriate CD/T vaccinations.
